PitestiIn Atlas Copco we focus on Safety, Health and the Environment as reported in the previous issue of our magazine. The safety first concept is promoted every year with the Atlas Copco Safety Day in all of our plants. We decided to run a global Safety Day on April 28, the same date as the World Day for Safety and Health at Work.

PragueThe aim of the global Atlas Copco Safety Day is to emphasize safety at work and reinforce our safety culture by giving all stake holders the possibility to openly discuss where we are with regards to safety and how we can improve working conditions for all of our employees and also for our customers using Atlas Copco products. Having a healthy work environment is as important for Atlas Copco’s productivity as supporting employees with a healthy lifestyle.

The local units were free to decide the content of the local safety day based on their local needs.

In our premises in Prague, Bratislava and Pitesti, we focused on an interactive and very interesting first aid course by the local Red Cross organization. New cost and emission saving software for sharing company cars was introduced for the first time, followed by a Health & Safety workshop.

We can proudly say that Atlas Copco employees are committed to safety!
